Mo Zhen was slightly surprised for a moment, he turned to look at Ah Yao , a light gleaming in his deep black eyes as he asked, “You thought of what?”

Ah Yao shook her head and continued to stare intently at the painting on the wall, “No, I just thought that this oil painting looked really familiar. I know! Don’t you think it looks like an orange that has exploded in a microwave?”

Mo: “…”

He picked up the glass in his hands and sipped some water. “I usually use a juicer to make orange juice.”

Ah Yao: “…”

Must he use such a mesmerizing voice to insult her? Really terrible!

As for the waiter who was standing on the side serving them, despite seeing Mo Zhen eat Western food at a table all by himself, the waiter could only expose a professional and calm smile- although his heart was curious to death.

Watching as Mo Zhen readjusted his position in his seat, the waiter politely retreated. Ah Yao watched as Mo Zhen elegantly ate his western food, and also felt a little hungry, but she wasn’t sure if the hunger was from her heart or from her stomach.

“The cheese platter here is very delicious.” Mo Zhen forked a small piece of bread as he showed it to Ah Yao in front of him.

It was as if because he had the height advantage to pick the grapes, but when he picked the grapes, he would still deliberately show off how sweet and delicious they were. (idiom)

Ah Yao raised her eyebrows and chuckled a few times, “Really? Then you must eat them for me.”

Mo Zhen felt a little uncomfortable, although he had intentionally teased Ah Yao about her shortcomings, when he saw her drooling over the food, he couldn’t watch any longer. “When we go back I’ll ask my master to see if there is any way to help you eat,” he said.

Ah Yao’s eyes lit up when she heard this and almost burst out of her chair, “really? Really can I eat?” Since she had become a ghost, she had been unable to eat or savour anything at all!  Not being able to eat her favourite snacks was akin to going through torture!

Mo Zhen tried to ignore the person happily dancing in front of her… … uh, ghosts, when they cry, there shouldn’t be a sound.

Ah Yao continued in excitement, “You have a master?”

Mo Zhen’s mouth stopped moving, as if he had accidently revealed a secret.

Regarding Master, Mo Zhen has always tight-lipped and deliberately never mentioned his master to anyone, all of his private information was absolutely confidential to the outsider world. So what had happened that summer vacation, the only two people who knew about it were him and his grandma. After the death of grandmother, no one knew about his matter.

And yet he had so naturally mentioned his master in front of Ah yao.

“He can’t be the priest person you were mentioning before, right?” Ah Yao continued to question curiously; Mo Zhen thought, since she technically wasn’t a person, she can’t be considered an outsider, right? Justifying it in his head, Mo Zhen nodded frankly. “When I was very young, I could see some wandering ghosts, it was only after I met Master that they all disappeared.”

“Oh,” said Ah Yao nodding, “Why can you see me then?”

“I don’t know.” Mo Zhen smiled silently, and he remembered that the first two words that Master had said to him were –

Maybe he was referring to this.

Although he was sitting in the corner, Mo Zhen still had the identity as a celebrity and there were many guests who could not help themselves but glance at him. Most of the people who came to this restaurant had very gentleman etiquette, although they were not fans that would frantically take pictures and ask for an autograph, most of them still possessed gossiping hearts.

Not to mention, they had no idea why Mo Zhen was talking to the empty space in front of him, people could not help but make up a story in their minds of how Mo Zhen had been so stressed and frustrated that it slowly developed into a mental disorder kind of story.

“Zhen Zhen, I feel like more and more people are staring at you.” Ah Yao looked around for a while and felt that there were many eyes directed at them at that moment.

Mo Zhen coughed, his right hand covering his mouth , “So don’t talk to me again right now.”

Ah Yao flattened her mouth, but she really no longer opened her mouth to speak.

The sound of high heels clicking on the floor came close, Ah Yao twisted her head in the direction of the noise and saw a woman wearing a black dress come from the side. Her hand was holding a glass of red wine as vibrant and gorgeous as her lip lipstick. Her black high heels were at least 10 cm high, but still she floated gracefully as she came closer.

“Emperor Mo, what a coincidence?” When the woman reached Mo Zhen’s side, she stopped and swiveled the red wine in her hand, “You’re by yourself?”

Ah Yao looked up at her, her smooth straight black hair was compiled into a fancy and delicate hairstyle, a diamond necklace hung on her neck as more diamonds hung from her earlobes like a beautiful statue.

If you wanted a word to describe this woman, compared to the word beautiful, describing her as delicate was more appropriate. Not to mention her face had exquisite makeup painted on, even her lips were curved wonderfully, as if she was a sophisticated noble lady.

“Ah.” Mo Zhen sipped his water quietly and wiped his mouth with a paper towel.

“What a coincidence, I’m also by myself, would you mind if I sat down?” Although the woman was asking politely, but in reality, her body was already prepared to resolutely sit beside Mo Zhen.

Mo Zhen put down the paper towel in his hands, raised his head and looked at this woman.

He had never really lacked any accompaniment, whether it was someone alone, or a group of people, there would always be someone willing to stick themselves to him.

But Tang Xiao should be among the best of them.

The born-to-be a model Tang Xiao, after spending some time shining in the model industry, opened up her own economic company and retreated behind the scenes. From the runway, it was extremely difficult to even see her shadow, it was only through various parties in the entertainment industry, that people would have the honour of seeing Tang Xiao’s grace and beauty.

Many people said that there must be a powerful backer behind Tang Xiao, and although Mo Zhen himself had also heard many rumours about Tang Xiao, but he was not interested in exploring the right or wrongs of the entertainment world’s ‘today I sleep with you, tomorrow you sleep with me idea.

“Sorry, I have already finished.” Mo Zhen pushed his chair back and stood up from his seat.

Although the entertainment industry would never suffer from a lack of gossip, however Mo Zhen still did not want to contribute more things for them to talk about.

Tang Xiao who was just about to sit down was suddenly frozen in place, she had not expected that even Mo Zhen would refuse her.

Although Mo Zhen had debuted for so many years, he really did not have any scandals, the only one time was due to the company putting out rumours about him and Song Ni as advertisement. However, the one thing Tang Xiao knew very well was that Mo Zhen did not lack a woman.

Mo Zhen’s appearance and status in the entertainment industry were truly second to none, it was only a matter of time that she herself too would be hooked. Having said that, there were many hidden rules in the entertainment industry, even if you had great potential, just by being by Mo Zhen’s side would guarantee you a high position in the industry.

Tang Xiao did not know who Mo Zhen had slept with, but there at least must be many girls who wanted to sleep with him. Yet he had come here to eat alone, Tang Xiao could not help but be very confused.

This man had a seductive atmosphere all around him, almost fatal to any person nearby.

Tang Xiao bit her lips but still did not move, “Emperor Mo, must you refuse like this?” She herself had personally invited him, and yet he refused? This kind of thing Tang Xiao has never encountered.

Mo Zhen stepped back and only looked at Tang Xiao as he said: “Sorry, I am really full, the next time I have the opportunity I will invite you to eat, I truly apologize.”

Tang Xiao frowned, she would not think that since the year she turned 18 she would ever hear a man rejecting her and telling her there was always next time.

“Next time I’ll invite you to eat.” Tang Xiao smiled and slightly moved her body to give Mo Zhen space to walk out. Although her heart was unwilling, but she was not in a rush to pull the man back to sell her goods.

Mo Zhen also smiled at Tang Xiao with great politeness, though underneath it was very cold and alienated. Watching as Mo Zhen’s figure disappeared into the distance, the restaurant guests finally let out a disappointed sigh.

They had thought they would be able to see a lightning-exciting drama, but the result was that the flower had been intentionally ruthlessly rejected.

The audience gave their bad reviews! Refund!

After leaving the restaurant, Ah Yao had been silent. Mo Zhen drove the car onto the road and looked at her sideways, “What’s wrong?”

“Well,” Ah Yao did not look at Mo Zhen and stared straight ahead, “Didn’t you tell me not to talk to you?”

Mo: “…”

Sometimes vexatious can be so unreasonable.

“Now no one is around, if you want to say something, say it.” Mo Zhen’s eyes looked back at the road, his driving pace maintain a not too slow and not too quick speed.

Ah Yao murmured a noise in reply and said: “There’s nothing for me to say, you just go and talk to that beautiful sister ah.”

Casting a glance at the person sitting beside him in the co-pilot seat, the corners of Mo Zhen’s mouth rose in amusement. When did this little female ghost learn to be jealous?

But Ah Yao’s troubles, how could he understand them? After experiencing Xiao Xi, Song Ni, even Luo Tiancheng, and now tonight a black-haired beauty had entered the scene. Ah Yao truly felt that her family’s Zhen Zhen was targeted by many many evil wolves.

And she did not even have the qualifications to say it.

This was a very sad thing for Ah Yao, when she thought about it, she did not want to speak even more.

Watching Ah Yao pull a long face, Mo Zhen reluctantly smiled. The feelings the little ghost had for him, how could he not know? … … but like his master had said, ghosts were still ghosts.

Even if he did know about her feelings, what could he do about them?

The two people were thinking about each other, and the way back home was very silent.

The next few days Mo Zhen made Ah Yao stay at home to avoid the limelight, but after hiding low for three days, Ah Yao was on the brink of collapse. Although she could now go on the internet, but the websites Ah Yao went on were all related to Mo Zhen, and she would always stumble on continuous confessions from Mo Zhen’s fans to her family’s DaRen.

No matter where she went, from the internet to in real life, she would always see other people trying to covet her family’s Zhen Zhen to themselves!

Ah Yao was very unhappy, so she decided to run away from home – well, more like leave in the morning and come back at night.

She drifted aimlessly outside, but did not dare to go any farther from in the villa area. After wandering for a while, Ah Yao discovered that the villa neighborhood where Mo Zhen lived was really sparsely populated and only a few cars could pass- all of them being luxury cars .

Ah Yao squatted on the sidewalk teasing a small black stray cat, and was seriously thinking about her own ghost life.

“Meow” the cute cat that was lying under Ah Yao’s hands obediently suddenly rushed out. It had just ran out onto the road, when a Ferrari came speeding towards it, it was even an obnoxious bright red colour.

Sitting in the driver’s seat was a woman, when she saw the black cat suddenly jump onto the road, she was so shocked that she had even forgotten to press onto the brakes.

Watching the still-speeding forward sports car, Ah Yao drifted forward quickly, “Be careful!”

Perhaps it was an illusion, but at that moment, Ah Yao felt like she was grabbing onto the cat, and then a ghost and a cat rolled into a ball.

The sound of a sharp brake pierced the sky and the Ferrari finally came to a stop, dust trails following behind it. The door opened and a woman came out.

“Are you okay?” The woman crouched down and looked at the black cat’s injury.

Ah Yao looked up at the front of the woman and with some doubt she said, “meow?”

So, Zhen Zhen’s little ghost wife is not a person, nor is a ghost,

but now she’s a cat.

Oh Zhen Zhen what are you going to do now? It’s gotten even harder for you to love her.
